About the Role

The Regional Officer is responsible for driving student recruitment in allocated regions through the co-ordination of sales and marketing activities within their assigned budget.

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Co-ordinates the sales and recruitment activities
  • Undertakes follow-ups, queries, assesses applications and updates all records in EM Portal (internal CRM) on a daily basis
  • Assist with planning and implementation of sales and event activities in given regions
  • Assists in preparation of quarterly sales reports
  • Liaises with Regional Manager on all actual or foreseen variations to budgets or activities in a timely fashion
  • Assists in other markets as required by Senior Management
  • Co-ordinates and participates in recruitment events under the direction of the Regional Manager
  • Processes domestic applications ensuring a quick turn around with Admissions staff
  • Contributes to the promotion of international pathways
  • Contributes to the development, implementation and review of annual Student Recruitment plans
  • Provides informed advice to the Regional Manager to ensure marketing products are tailored to suit specific requirements of each academic program, whilst also meeting domestic / international marketing strategies and cultural sensitivities
  • Monitors the use of all trademark and intellectual property in the region and immediately report any suspected infringement to the Regional Manager

Formal Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree from a college or university; or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

The Employee will demonstrate experience in:

  • The Education Industry, ideally within domestic student recruitment
  • Experience in Sales and Marketing
  • Representing organisations at external events
  • Event co-ordination
  • Providing a high levels of customer service
  • Application of administrative, clerical, records management procedures and systems operating within an administrative environment
  • Working in a multi-cultural environment

  • Technology – Experience in the following software applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer and databases including experience in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems

Desirable

  • Experience in the hospitality industry

Special Conditions

  • Out of hours work will be required
  • Employee will be required to travel within assigned regions
  • Full Drivers License and Vehicle required
  • Laptop and Mobile Phone will be provided
