A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Regional Sales Manager for Gas Services in Australia, you will drive market development for gas turbine power generation opportunities, working closely with customers, EPCs, consultants, and internal teams.
You will support early-stage opportunity development and contribute to the full sales lifecycle from concept to contract closure, collaborating with regional and global stakeholders.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Develop and support new opportunities to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline across Australia

• Drive and support early customer engagement activities and contribute to win strategies

• Work closely with technical sales teams and regional/global stakeholders to position Siemens Energy solutions

• Contribute to the full sales process from opportunity development through to bidding, negotiation, and contract closure

• Engage with customers, EPCs, and consultants to support project development and solution alignment

• Analyze market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and competitor activities to support effective sales strategies

What You Bring

• 7–15 years of experience in the energy sector, ideally within power generation or related industries

• Exposure to gas turbine technology or thermal power generation applications

• Experience in sales, business development, proposals, or customer-facing roles

• Exposure to working with developers, EPCs, end users, or consultants in energy-related projects

• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to support opportunity development and customer engagement

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams and cultures

• Australian work authorisation required at the time of application

• Deep technical expertise in gas turbine technology and operations

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification required

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
