We are a busy and well-established GP clinic located in Melbourne seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient service.

Job Description:

  • Welcoming and assisting patients in a warm and professional manner
  • Managing appointments and phone enquiries
  • Processing Medicare claims and payments
  • Handling patient records with strict confidentiality
  • Liaising with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals
  • General administrative/cleaning duties and maintaining a tidy reception area and overall the whole clinic

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist (preferred)
  • Experience using medical software (e.g., Best Practice or similar)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional presentation and positive attitude
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team

Pay: From $25.50 per hour
