About the role

Are you an experienced Receptionist looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to join our team at Matrix Medical Imaging, based in Glenroy, VIC. This full-time position will see you playing a vital role in the smooth running of our medical imaging practice, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. There is also an option for part-time hours.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

• Managing patient bookings and scheduling appointments

• Handling patient enquiries and providing information about our services

• Communication with healthcare providers

• Performing general administrative duties such as data entry, scanning, and answering phone calls

• Follow up calls to patients after procedures

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues in a compassionate and professional manner

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient data entry

• Proficiency in using Computers and Microsoft Office applications, Diary Management system experience will be highly regarded

• A friendly, patient-focused approach and a genuine interest in providing high-quality customer service
