Role Description
They are actively seeking an experienced medical receptionist to assist with their growing needs at their Hoppers Crossing site. This is a part-time role and the hours are between 8am – 4:30pm across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at Hoppers Crossing.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in day-to-day administrative operations of the clinic
Manage patient appointments for consultations and tests
Managing of claims to Medicare/DVA and all private billings/payments
Answer patient enquiries
Notify patients of changes and requirements for each appointment
Maintain consulting rooms and waiting area
Manage new patient registrations
What We Seek
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in an autonomous capacity
Strong data entry skills
Ability to work calmly in high-pressure situations
Excellent time management skills to set own priorities, plan and organise work
Previous experience with Gentu software or similar medical billing software
Strong computer skills
Demonstrated experience providing excellent patient care
Proven ability to work as a team player and good interpersonal skills
Track record of being reliable
