Responsibilities:

-          Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including but not limited to general, cosmetic, and restorative dental procedures.

-          Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms for each patient's visit.

-          Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and addressing any questions or concerns.

-          Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed.

-          Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.

-          Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.

-          Provide chairside support to the dentist, anticipating their needs and ensuring efficient procedures.

-          Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized dental environment.

Qualifications:

-          Previous experience as a dental assistant is an asset.

-          Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and materials.

-          Strong communication skills and a friendly, empathetic demeanour.

-          Ability to work well within a team environment.

-          Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

-          Strong computer skills.
