About the Position
Lumia Care is inviting applications for a Care Partner (Administrator) to look after our community aged care portfolio. We require an outstanding communicator who works clearly, concisely and with full transparency with their participants and their families.
Key Experience in the following is required:
Community Care experience is a must - we are looking for someone who is knowledgeable navigating the Community Care landscape and has previous experience working with this cohort of customers .
Being the first point of contact - key to this role is clear communication, a "smiling voice" and a genuine desire to assist our customers, their families and prospects in a time effective manner.
Providing high-quality administrative support in a fast paced environment via telephone and email - no two days are the same. Pertinent to your role are things like monthly check in's with clients, actioning referrals, liaising with inter-departments such as finance and rostering, overseeing client budgets to ensure no overspending and efficient utilization of funds available, organizing allied health equipment, dealing with preferred suppliers and doing administration tasks as delegated to you by your Clinical Lead partner.
Familiarity with using the My Aged Care Portal - setting up new customer profiles in our systems
Experience working from home is a must - this role is a hybrid role, seeing you work from our Hawthorn Office 2 days a week and working from home 3 days a week. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a exceptional established team of dedicated aged care professionals.

Demonstrated experience in a similar role in the community care space - not negotiable, our successful candidate must have this experience
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Superior attention to detail with a "get it done right the first time" attitude
Ability to work to competing deadlines and ability to prioritize tasks and juggle multiple requests at once
