About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing and supportive allied-health team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families by delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy across a range of developmental and functional domains.
You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment, providing assessment, intervention, and family-centred care across clinic, education, community, and telehealth settings.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of children’s functional abilities, developmental needs, and participation across daily activities
Prepare high-quality clinical reports, functional capacity assessments, and progress documentation
Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in both individual and group formats
Develop and implement individualised therapy plans aligned with best practice and NDIS frameworks
Work closely with families, carers, educators, and the multidisciplinary team to support holistic outcomes
Provide therapy services across multiple settings including clinic, childcare centres, kindergartens, schools, homes, and via Telehealth
Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and collaborative planning
Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with professional, ethical, and organisational standards
Essential Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
Experience or strong interest in paediatric practice
Sound knowledge of child development and evidence-based paediatric interventions
Strong communication, report-writing, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Eligibility to work in Australia
Desirable Criteria
Experience working within the NDIS framework
Experience delivering therapy across educational and community settings
Telehealth service delivery experience
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the local area
