Join Our Team as Casual Educator

Are you passionate about early childhood education and seeking a rewarding opportunity with flexibility? We’re currently looking for 5 dedicated and enthusiastic Casual Educators to join our child-safe, inclusive, high-quality early learning service. Preferred availability is on Mondays and Fridays, with flexibility to work additional days as needed.

About the Role

As a Casual Educator, you’ll work alongside our committed team to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a collaborative and nurturing environment.

Our service is proudly rated Exceeding in the National Quality Standard (NQS), and we’re looking for team players who are eager to contribute to this standard of excellence.

This role is ideal for educators seeking casual employment while gaining experience in a reputable early childhood setting.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A completed ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role

  • A valid Victorian Working with Children Check

  • A current National Police Clearance (issued within the past 6 months)

  • Approved First Aid & CPR qualifications, including asthma and anaphylaxis training

  • Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting training

  • National Child Safety Training (Geccko)

  • Food Handling and Food Allergen certification

  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and development

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • A team-oriented mindset and commitment to inclusive, ethical practices

  • Flexibility to work across all age groups

  • A basic understanding of the EYLF and NQS

  • Two responsive professional referees

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with a passionate team to deliver high-quality outcomes for children and families

  • Support daily routines and contribute to a positive, respectful environment

  • Build inclusive and supportive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators

  • Uphold the National Quality Framework, Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics, and the service’s philosophy and policies
