About this role

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic individual to join our innovative patient services administration team in Greensborough in a full-time capacity.

As first point of contact for our patients, we are seeking a special individual with genuine warmth, attentiveness, and positivity.  The role will be a mix of reception, administrative tasks such as billing and scheduling, support for our team of specialists, GPs, nurses and embryologists, and very importantly, support for our patients.

Our commitment to quality and safety is our highest priority. As a Category B healthcare worker, vaccinations for influenza and COVID-19 are strongly recommended.

Responsibilities include:

  • Medicare billing for IVF treatments

  • GP and Specialist billing for consults

  • Cryostorage billing

  • Managing disposal requests and finalising accounts

  • Problem solving and resolving Medicare exceptions

  • Proactively managing patient enquiries regarding billing 

  • Following up on aged debtors 

  • Phone support and attending to email enquiries

  • Managing new and existing patient appointments

  • Reception coverage

  • Ensuring relevant results, medical records and patient information accurately recorded

  • Patient education on fee structure and billing

  • Liaising with interdisciplinary departments to ensure seamless patient experience

The successful applicant will have the following knowledge and experience:

  • Previous demonstrated work experience in a medical or specialist environment 

  • Knowledge of Genie, Medicare and Private Health Fund billing (desirable)

  • A vibrant and professional attitude focused on exceptional patient care and continuous improvement in both self and the workplace

  • Willingness to learn and grow with the business

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong computer skills

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong professional customer service skill set and a desire to help customers, including team members, within Adora Fertility VIC.

You will have a high level of enthusiasm and initiative but be able to use your resilience and expertise to help new and existing patients navigate the path to commencing fertility treatment.

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
