NDIS Support Workers – Join Our Growing Team

In this role, you will deliver person-centred support that helps people with disabilities lead more independent and meaningful lives within the Narre Warren & surrounding areas community.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Provide personal assistance and support to clients in daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and household tasks
• Assist clients with their mobility and communication needs

• Support community participation and social interaction
• Help with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light household tasks
• Follow and implement individualised support plans
• Follow therapy plans and provide direct support and assistance to therapists.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with clients
• Work collaboratively with the wider team and report changes in client’s condition to management

• Engage in meaningful activities and support clients in achieving their personal goals and improving their quality of life
• Foster a safe, supportive, positive and respectful environment that enhances the well-being and independence of participants

Skills and Requirements

To be considered, you will need:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
• And/or at least 1 year of experience in disability support
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Police Check (within the last 6 months)
• Valid Australian driver’s licence
• Reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance

This position is a full-time (38 hours per week, minimum) salary range $70,000 to $85,000 plus Superannuation.
