Surface Coating are seeking 2-3 experienced Epoxy Flooring / Concrete Preparation Specialists to join our growing team based in Melbourne.

This is a hands-on, physical role involving concrete grinding, surface preparation, and epoxy flooring installation across industrial, commercial and residential sites - including short interstate project work (typically 1 week at a time within a 1-2 month cycle).

The Role

You'll be working in a small team delivering high-quality flooring systems across a variety of sites.

Work includes:

• Concrete grinding and surface preparation
• Epoxy flooring installation (roll coat, screeds, flake systems)
• Vinyl flake and poly cement systems
• Epoxy coving and detailing work
• Site clean-up and preparation
• Safe operation of grinding machinery and equipment
• Occasional interstate travel for project delivery

We are looking for reliable, experienced flooring / grinding operators who can hit the ground running.

You will need to demonstrate:

• Previous concrete grinding experience
• Epoxy flooring experience
• Ability to operate machinery and hand tools safely
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual, labour-intensive work
• White Card
• Full working rights in Australia
• Willingness to travel interstate for short project stints
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Able to follow direction and work independently when required
• A clear communicator within a small team environment
• Comfortable working on active construction and industrial sites

All successful candidates will be required to complete:

• Full medical assessment (including drug & alcohol screening)
• Hearing and physical capability testing

This is a small, fast-moving team working across commercial and industrial flooring projects.
