About the role
Maroondah CCU is a mental health rehabilitation unit part of the Adult and Older Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing Program. It is a 20-bed community based 24/7 residential facility that features a highly structured and supported physical environment. The CCU operates under a recovery-orientated model of care, providing a collaborative and consumer centered treatment approach to assist consumers in reaching their individual recovery goals and maintain wellness. The Occupational Therapist works within the multidisciplinary team and provides discipline specific assessment and intervention, as well as providing case management to CCU residents.

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
