About The Role:

We are seeking a Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive Autism and ADHD assessments for children and adolescents. This role involves conducting clinical interviews, administering and interpreting assessment tools, preparing diagnostic reports, and delivering feedback to clients and families in a supportive and evidence-based manner. Within this role you will be responsible for:

  • Meeting with parents or caregivers to conduct initial consultations.

  • Liaising with parents or caregivers to establish child and family-centred goals.

  • Designing strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming therapy programs to support children to achieve their goals.

  • Liaising with other professionals, such as educators, that are involved in the child's care.

  • Conducting standardised assessments.

  • Developing resources for therapy and home programs

  • You may, depending on demand, also provide therapy support to clients

We have full time or part time positions available. The role will be based in our Werribee clinic, with options to work at other clinics within Scribble on an as needed basis.


About You

As our newest Psychologist, you will have a passion for paediatrics and a caring and empathetic approach to your work. You will have:

  • Interest in providing neurodiversity affirming services

  • Experience working in a paediatric role

  • Demonstrated experience in the administration, scoring, interpretation, and reporting of psychological assessments, with experience in Autism and ADHD assessments is essential

  • Minimum 6 months experience specifically in Autism and ADHD assessments is required

  • Minimum of 6 months paediatric experience required

  • Masters of Psychology or equivalent

  • AHPRA registration

  • General AHPRA registration is required for this position

  • Drivers license and reliable vehicle or novated leasing option

  • Working with Children Check and National Police Check
