About the role

Chapter 1 Early Learning is seeking passionate and experienced Child Care Educators to join our team at our Montmorency, Victoria location. As a Child Care Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to the children in our centre. We are searching for full-time educators, with opportunities for career development and growth within our organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate educational programs for children aged 0- 6 years

2. Providing a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment that supports the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of each child

3. Documenting children's learning and development through observations, portfolios and other assessment tools

4. Building positive relationships with families and collaborating with them to support each child's individual needs

5. Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised learning environment

6. Adhering to all relevant regulations, policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of children in our care

What we're looking for

1. A relevant qualification and experience in Early Childhood Education or equivalent

2. Demonstrated experience working with children aged 0-5 years in an early learning environment

3. Strong knowledge of child development, early childhood pedagogy and the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families

5. A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education

6. A current Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification (including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management)
