Casey Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated and experienced Casual Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team, working across both our modern practice locations in Clyde and Cranbourne.

About the role

As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our patients and supporting the day-to-day operations of our medical centre.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a warm, professional, and courteous manner

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments efficiently

• Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about clinic services

• Maintain and update patient records with attention to detail and confidentiality

• Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and inventory management

• Ensure the smooth running of the reception area and contribute to overall clinic efficiency

• Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold a patient-focused approach

  About You
  

  We are looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and passionate about patient care. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar healthcare setting

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients and clinical staff

  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

  • Proficiency in medical software and general computer systems

  • Familiarity with Best Practice software

  • Understanding of Medicare item numbers and billing procedures

  • A warm, friendly, and professional demeanour
