Position Overview

We are seeking a professional, reliable, and knowledgeable Front of House Waiter to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong wine and drinks knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to support smooth front-of-house operations. Computer literacy and confidence using POS systems are essential.

This role is perfect for someone passionate about hospitality, attentive to detail, and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner

• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine, cocktails, and beverages

• Confidently explain wine pairings and drink menus

• Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems

• Ensure smooth communication between front and back of house

• Assist in maintaining reservations and guest flow

• Process payments accurately and handle cash/card transactions

• Help monitor stock levels of beverages and inform management when needed

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area

• Support the team to ensure seamless service during busy periods

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a waiter/server in a restaurant or hospitality setting

• Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails

• Comfortable using POS systems and basic computer software

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance

• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
