We specialise in local and international wines, curated beers and classic cocktails, complemented by a refined menu of European-inspired small plates and shared dishes.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Cook to join our team (38 hours per week, Wednesday–Sunday afternoons and evenings).

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a capable and organised cook who enjoys working independently within a small, well-run venue.

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and delivering high-quality European-inspired small plates and shared dishes

  • Contributing to the development of seasonal menus

  • Managing preparation and service efficiently within a compact kitchen

  • Maintaining organisation and workflow during busy service periods

  • Assisting with kitchen setup and pack down

  • Supporting general duties including dishes to ensure smooth service

  • Adhering strictly to food safety and OH&S standards

Our kitchen is very small, so preparation, structure and composure under pressure are essential.

About You

You will ideally have:

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant professional kitchen experience

  • A genuine passion for European cuisine

  • The ability to work independently and manage your section confidently

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • The capacity to perform efficiently during busy services

  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English

  • Availability Wednesday to Sunday (approximately 2–3pm until 10–11pm)

Most importantly, you take pride in your food, your kitchen, and being part of a close, customer-focused team.

What We Offer

  • Full-time hours (38 per week)

  • Consistent Wednesday–Sunday schedule

  • A creative and supportive small-team environment

  • Easy public transport access

If you’re passionate about European flavours and enjoy the energy of a small, quality-focused wine bar, we’d love to hear from you.
