Veritus Research is looking for a Kitchen Hand/Meal Monitor to our state-of-the-art clinical trials facility in Bayswater. We have Permanent positions available at the time of this job posting.

This is a unique role for someone passionate about food safety, organisation, and participant care and helping ensure meals meet strict dietary and research requirements in a clinical trial setting. You will be supporting our clinical operations team by ensuring the safe, compliant, and timely preparation and delivery of meals to study participants.

Role Requirements:

Prepare, heat, and serve participant meals following dietary and study protocol requirements.

Accurately identify and distribute meals to participants per study dietary instructions.

Supervise meal areas to ensure food compliance.

Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe kitchen and meal service environment.

Refill water stations and maintain utensils, crockery, and serving equipment.

Support stock management, including ordering, receiving, and restocking food items.

Follow food safety, infection control, and OH&S procedures.

Assisting the Clinical staff in completing clinical forms and documentation.

Ad hoc cleaning services. 

Collaborate closely with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Other tasks under the direction of the Clinical Trial Centre Manager.

You’ll bring:

Previous experience in food service, kitchen operations, or hospitality (highly regarded).

Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

Ability to follow protocols and maintain hygiene standards.

A friendly, professional manner and strong communication skills.

Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing schedules.
