Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and 1 year of work experience required.

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000

Duties:

 Inspect and select ingredients for cooking

 Measure, clean, chop, blend, season, hot and cool food

 Monitor food cooking process to ensure proper cooking and presentation

 Coordinate, supervise and collaborate with kitchen staff in food preparation

and cooking

 Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils

 Monitor and maintain inventory of food supplies and equipment

 Assist in the development of new recipes for specials.
