Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with the Head Chef and Owner create a diverse and exciting kosher menu.

• Direct and demonstrate for the kitchen team the preparation and cooking of all dishes on the menu and ensure all food preparation and cooking processes comply with kosher dietary laws.

• Manage your area of the kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff scheduling.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

• Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and dishes into the menu.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a chef in a kosher kitchen at least 1 year.

• Relevant Diploma level qualification, or at least 3 years of relevant chef experience can substitute, if there is no qualification.

• Deep understanding of kosher dietary laws and certification processes.

• Strong leadership and management skills.

• Creative flair and a passion for culinary innovation.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

• Formal culinary training or equivalent experience.
