The Trustee for HUSSAIN FAMILY TRUST trading as JOJAYZ CAFE Doreen and Cragieburn is currently looking to hire a Chef. We are known for our commitment to quality and exceptional culinary experiences. Position: Chef (Full-Time)

Location: Craigieburn and Doreen, VIC 3750,3754

Salary: $77,000-$80,000 per annum plus Superannuation

Experience required:     Formal Qualifications in Cookery and Hospitality are preferred, with a minimum 2-3-year relevant experience as a Chef.

Applicant also must have:

Great work ethics 

Time management and organization skills

Clear verbal and written communication to meet deadlines. 

Ensure efficient kitchen operations.

The ideal candidate will be expected to perform the following duties that include but are not limited to:

Develop menus, estimate food, and Labor costs, and order food supplies.

Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays.

Prepare and cook food by range of methods.

Explaining and ensuring adherence to hygiene regulations.

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production.

Ensure the quality of dishes is maintained during all stages of preparation and presentation.

Collaborate with the Manager and kitchen staff to discuss food preparation issues.

Demonstrate cooking techniques and advise on procedures.

Supervise kitchen staff.
