About the role

This is a full time position in a very busy Greek restaurant. Our fully licensed restaurant specializes in Greek cuisine. Our menu showcases the freshest ingredients and your experience and ideas will bring this to life with innovative dishes that change seasonally. The position is full-time, consisting of 38 hrs per week. Your Role The main duties include:

Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation

Menu development and costing

Replenishing stock and stock control

Cleaning work area and other kitchen cleaning duties as the role requires

Training of kitchen support staff as required

Management of kitchen support staff as required

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for candidates with the following attributes:

Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays

Passionate about food and providing high standards of foodservice

Positive attitude and ability to thrive under pressure

Great team player

Minimum Two years experience in a similar role.

Undertake the training of staff as required.

  • Kitchen: 1 year (Preferred)
