We are a multi location cafe chain, looking for an experienced & dedicated Kitchen Hand to join our cafe at Altona North.

Hours/rates can be negotiated for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all food preparation areas

· Efficient in cleaning/washing task to help a smooth operations during / post service

· If required, assisting chefs with basic food preparation

· Managing waste, cleaning surfaces, and aiding with stock delivery

. Maintain the high standards of hygiene in the kitchen, with equipments, utensils etc

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Kitchen Hand in a busy cafe service kitchen

· Strong team player, good communication skills

· Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

· Good management of your required task in a timely manner

. Ability to work in a physically demanding role

· Culinary certifications or equivalent experience will be an added advantage
