Binary is a bustling sleek and stylish café, nestled on the ground floor of the iconic 101 Collins tower in the CBD. Operated by Code Black Coffee, this venue pumps out specialty coffee and delivers a diverse and interesting cabinet and a-la-carte menu.

 

We are looking for vibrant and energetic Front of House professionals who are passionate about the hospitality industry, who love what they do, and who are experienced in delivering exceptional service in a busy environment. This role is a combination between customer service, table service, and basic food preparation as it involves taking customer food orders (breakfast items, sandwiches and salads), toasting the sandwiches and packaging everything up nicely for take-away or dine-in as required.

The right candidate will be able to demonstrate:

· Personalised service to each customer - be able to read your customers and respond accordingly

· Strong knowledge and interest in great coffee and food

· Previous experience in a customer facing Sandwich hand or counter service position

· Able to handle food in a hygienic, efficient, respectful and professional manner

· A desire to work in a professional, structured, and fun environment with plenty of laughs

· Energy, focus, passion and drive, and the ability to tackle a hectic service with calm and confidence

· Ability to communicate clearly, politely, and effectively with others (fluent English is a must)

Hours: Approximately 20 hours over 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday). Must be available Tuesday -Thursday ongoing.
