Role Requirements:

• MUST HAVE a valid, Full Driver's Licence in Victoria (non-negotiable)

• Ideally with great availability in the month of June (weekdays and weekends, morning to afternoon)

We have an exciting project commencing this June. The role focuses on providing business support to our clients and involves handling vehicles as part of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Please note that this project for June is not the typical event staff or brand ambassador work that we usual offer. However, successful candidates who complete and pass the hiring process will be added to our Melbourne database, providing access to future opportunities and the flexibility to choose shifts and roles that align with your interests, qualifications, and availability.

As a CASUAL Brand Ambassador and Event Staff, your tasks may include:

• Giving away freebies and spreading smiles and good vibes

• Chatting with customers and collecting leads

• Providing top-notch customer service

• Guest registration & event hosting

• Serving food & drinks

• Helping with simple event set-ups and pack-downs

• Step into character and dress up as a mascot or fun costume character (yes, seriously!)

• Business support for our clients' business needs

NOTE: Different events entail different roles, tasks and responsibilities.

Where You Might Work

• Shopping centres (retail pop-ups)

• Stadiums (NRL, AFL, A-League, Rugby)

• Beaches (sun + free samples = best shift ever)

• Train stations (flyering + meeting new faces)

• Expo halls and trade shows (think: cool booths and buzzing crowds)

• Corporate offices and many more — different events have different locations!

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in customer-facing, client-facing, or service-oriented roles such as hospitality, retail, customer service, or similar industries is required.

• Naturally outgoing, friendly and energetic people with a positive and can-do attitude!

• Confident communicators with strong English skills and the ability to engage comfortably with a wide range of people.

• Attentive to detail and able to follow guidelines and procedures accurately.

• Individuals who enjoy looking polished and professional.

• Team players who are equally comfortable working independently.

• Dependable, reliable and committed staff who show up for the shifts they accept.

• Must be reasonably fit — you’ll be on your feet, moving around and having fun!

Bonus Skills/Qualifications (great to have, NOT required)

- Prior experience in the events industry

- Valid Qualifications: Working With Children Check (most requested/needed qualification, having/getting one will mean more chances of work!), Responsible Service of Alcohol, Food Handling Certificate, etc.

- Sales/Lead Generation experience and KPI superstars who love a good goal to chase

- Proven experience in leading, handling and managing a team

- Bilingual / multilingual speakers
