HANKS CAFE & BAGELRY

Love good food? Love a good vibe? We’re on the hunt for passionate Commis Chefs and Chef de Parties to join the crew at Hanks Bagelry — with positions available both full-time and part-time across our Chadstone and Armadale venues.

Hanks is all about fresh ideas, bold flavours, and crafting food we’re proud of. We run a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen, and we’re looking for people who thrive in a busy environment while still valuing a genuine work–life balance— something we proudly support with daytime-only hours.

You’ll work closely with our Head Chef and the wider team to keep things running smoothly — and deliciously — every single day.

What We Offer

  • Full-time and part-time roles available

  • Daytime-only hours — no nights!

  • Real work–life balance

  • Competitive salary

  • A creative, supportive kitchen where ideas are encouraged and rewarded

  • Career progression within a growing multi-venue group

  • Easy access to public transport + free all-day parking nearby

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen

  • A positive team player who brings great energy to service

  • Organised, reliable, and strong communication skills

  • A genuine love for food, flavour, and presentation

  • A keen eye for detail

  • Chefs who love what they do and want to grow

If you love bagels as much as we do and want to join a fun, passionate team making food people crave — we’d love to hear from you.

Only successful applicants will be contacted.
