We have an exciting opportunity for a Gaming Attendant to join the team at The Coach in Ringwood on a casual basis.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, providing outstanding customer experiences, and being part of a supportive team, this could be the perfect role for you. As a Gaming Attendant, you’ll help create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests while delivering exceptional service and maintaining presentation, compliance and responsible gaming standards at all times.

The Coach is our newly renovated dining and entertainment complex located in the heart of Ringwood. From the moment you walk into the venue, the warmth and friendliness makes you already feel at home.

A modern new Bistro specialising in a family friendly environment, offering an extensive a la carte menu whilst delivering quality customer service, catering to all. Not to mention the relocation of the Sports Bar, with a dedicated menu and a newly developed alfresco area. Making it the perfect place to watch the game, or simply enjoy a beverage, relax and unwind.

About Us

Pegasus Leisure Group (PLG) is the hospitality arm of the Melbourne Racing Club, managing a growing network of 16 pubs, clubs and hospitality venues across Victoria. Our venues include bistros, sports bars, function spaces and gaming areas, each focused on delivering great hospitality experiences within their local communities.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering outstanding customer service with a friendly and professional approach
  • Creating a welcoming, safe and enjoyable gaming environment
  • Handling cash and operating tills accurately and efficiently
  • Supporting venue promotions and loyalty program enquiries
  • Responding to customer concerns professionally and escalating where required
  • Maintaining the cleanliness, presentation and ambience of the gaming room
  • Supporting responsible gambling practices and providing information when required

What We’re Looking For

  • Great energy and a positive, can-do attitude
  • A passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first approach
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Previous gaming or hospitality experience is highly regarded

Essential Requirements

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
  • Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) Certificates
  • Current Gaming Licence
  • Food Safely and Food Allergen certification, or willingness to obtain

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that may involve standing for extended periods, handling cash transactions, and working across a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
