Our team is growing and we are seeking a Cook/Chef to join our growing kitchen!
Our Vibe
At Hard Road Brewing, we're not just about craft beer; we're about creating an unforgettable experience! As one of Australia's highly rated independent craft beer taprooms, we pride ourselves on our outstanding brews and hospitality. Here, innovation meets creativity in a casual yet vibrant atmosphere. Our cooking style embraces comfort food—think generous portions served in diner-style baskets and platters. Our kitchen is located in a fitted Airstream trailer (soon tote upgraded to a bigger kitchen).
Your Role
Step into the dynamic role of Cook/Chef at Hard Road's Roadhouse kitchen, serving our bustling 100-pax brewpub within a craft brewery. While you'll help take charge of the kitchen, your hands-on spirit is essential. You won't just be leading from the front—you'll be right there on the line, working alongside your fellow staff to create and serve our delicious brewery style cuisine. This is a place for creativity, so bring your flair and imagination beyond just burgers and fries.
Your responsibilities will include ordering, costings, preparing, cooking, and service, along with crafting regular specials, function platters, and signature sauces. With a couple of experienced 'wartime' kitchen staff by you side who know the ropes of the kitchen currently, we are looking for a self-directed, motivated, and creative cook/chef ready to inspire and lead the team.
