Casual Barista

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Casual Barista to join our café team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing quality coffee and beverages, providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness standards, and supporting daily café operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare espresso-based coffee and other beverages to a high standard.

  • Provide friendly and professional customer service.

  • Take customer orders and process payments.

  • Maintain a clean and organised coffee station.

  • Restock supplies throughout the shift.

  • Assist with opening and closing duties.

  • Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.

  • Work efficiently during busy service periods.

  • Support team members when required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous barista experience preferred.

  • Ability to produce consistent, high-quality coffee.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

  • Availability to work weekdays and weekends as required.

Working Hours

  • Casual position.

  • Shifts typically between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

  • Flexible hours based on business needs.
