Job Description

About the Role: 

At Brown Family Wine Group, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR & Recruitment Business Partner to coordinate recruitment activities across the business while partnering closely with our Sales, Marketing & Export teams to deliver high-quality HR support and advice.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing end-to-end recruitment activities with hands-on HR partnering in a collaborative and values-driven environment.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will:

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities across the business
  • Partner with leaders to deliver effective hiring strategies
  • Provide HR advice and coaching across the full range of HR activities including performance management, engagement, talent management and compliance activities
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across Sales, Marketing & Export teams
  • Promote Brown Family Wine Group as an employer of choice through attraction and recruitment initiatives
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across recruitment and HR processes, including identifying efficiencies and improvements through data insights, employee feedback and recruitment metrics
  • Assist with investigations, grievances and performance-related matters
  • Contribute to broader HR projects and people initiatives as required
  • Occasional intra and interstate travel will be required to support recruitment, stakeholder engagement and broader business operations across our sites and regions
Desired Skills and Experience

About You:

This is a great role for someone looking to step up into a business partner role in a supportive environment.  You are a proactive, people-focused HR professional with experience in recruitment and generalist HR. You build strong relationships, communicate confidently at all levels and thrive in fast-paced environments. With strong organisation and a solutions-focused mindset, you are passionate about delivering a positive employee and candidate experience while supporting leaders with practical HR advice.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or human resources
  • HR knowledge across the employee lifecycle
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High levels of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
  • Experience with HRIS and recruitment systems (highly desirable)
  • Qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related field (desirable)
  • A current driver’s licence
