About the Role
We are looking for a commercially focused HR Manager to partner with leaders across the business and support the delivery of strong, consistent people practices across Atlantic Group.
Working closely with operational and executive leaders, you will play a key role in providing practical HR advice, supporting performance and engagement, and ensuring our people approach aligns with business objectives.
This full-time role is based at our Head Office in South Melbourne, with regular engagement across venues and event sites.
As the HR Manager, you will:
Report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Partner with leaders to provide proactive, commercially focused HR advice
Support and coach managers on performance, engagement, and team effectiveness
Manage employee relations matters including performance management, investigations and disciplinary processes
Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning across the business
Identify trends and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, modern awards and company policies
Maintain and improve HR policies, processes and documentation
Work collaboratively across departments to support consistent and effective people practices
Contribute to people and culture initiatives that support engagement, retention and leadership capability
About You
You will have previous experience in a HR Manager role, ideally within hospitality, events or a multi-site environment. You’ll also bring:
Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and modern awards
Proven ability to influence, coach and partner with leaders
A practical, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness
Confidence managing employee relations matters end-to-end
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work autonomously while building strong relationships across the business
