Service Technician | Production Support | Commissioning | Systems Programming

About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Service & Production Support Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to a technically minded professional with experience in commissioning support, product servicing, and system programming within the fire protection and energy conservation industries.

The position involves providing both on-site and off-site assistance for commissioning activities, delivering technical support across a broad range of products supplied by Fire Protection Technologies and programming various systems.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working across both field and workshop environments, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and maintain a high standard of workmanship.

What you’ll actually be doing

• Deliver on-site and remote commissioning and technical support.

• Conduct Fan Integrity Testing and equipment calibration (ECT).

• Assist with factory assembly, testing, and dispatch activities.

• Liaise with clients and internal teams to provide technical support.

• Complete accurate documentation and reporting.

• Ensure compliance with QA standards and escalate key issues as required.

About You

You will bring:

• Mechanical/Electrical aptitude.

• Excellent communication and report writing skills.

• Preferable to have knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.

• Valid Driver’s License

• Promote product and sales

• Attention to detail and a can-do attitude.

• Excellent organisational skills

• Ability to undergo a Pre employment medical
