The opportunity
The Project Manager, Project Development is a key member of the Project Development team within Integrated Asset Planning, reporting to the Team Leader, and leads the early development of major infrastructure projects through to the Business Case Part 1 gate. The role is responsible for preparing robust business cases and comprehensive handover documentation to support preferred solutions, while contributing to the implementation of GWW's capital delivery lifecycle (Portfolio and Project Management Framework) and strengthening organisational capability in business case development and project handover practices. The team delivers projects across all asset types, including water and sewer mains, tanks, pump stations, odour control and recycled water assets, solar and energy initiatives, and treatment plant upgrades. This role also plays an important part in shaping delivery under Greater Western Water's NextGen transformation as new planning and engineering partners are mobilised to enhance asset delivery capability and capacity.
