The Role
We’re seeking a Specification Manager to drive project specifications and grow market share across Victoria.
This role will suit someone who enjoys a mix of technical sales, business development and relationship management, working across both design and delivery channels.
Your day-to-day will involve:
Developing and managing specification opportunities with architects, consultants and engineers
Building relationships with key accounts and end users across construction and OEM markets
Providing technical advice and support for project design and implementation
Identifying new opportunities and nurturing long-term client partnerships
Working collaboratively with the broader national sales team
About You
You’re a seasoned sales professional with experience in construction materials, OEM manufacturing, or specification-driven markets. You’re commercially savvy, technically minded, and comfortable working autonomously.
To be successful, you’ll bring:
Proven success in a specification, BDM or account management role
Experience promoting technical or engineered building products
Strong relationships across architecture, consulting, or construction sectors
A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong communication skills
The ability to balance technical detail with commercial outcomes
SALARY AND BENEFITS
$90K - $110K for a Base Salary
Additional Superannuation
Option of a company car or $20K Car Allowance
Profit Share - Paid twice a year
Laptop and mobile phone
Head office is Dandenong - may require you two days a week here when not on the road, however not full office days!
