The Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our evolving agile development teams. You’ll work alongside Scrum Masters, Product Managers, QA Engineers, and fellow Developers in an environment that encourages openness, respect, transparency, and continuous learning.You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality software, build reliable solutions, and help improve the way we work as we continue our product evolution.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver high‑quality code using modern languages and frameworks
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to planning and retrospectives
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests
  • Collaborate with QA on automated testing approaches
  • Participate in code reviews and give constructive feedback
  • Deploy code to multiple environments and support release activities
  • Suggest improvements to CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to system errors and logs
  • Document technical decisions and contribute to knowledge sharing
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and bring them into the team

What you’ll bring

Essential

  • Proficient in one or more of: JavaScript, Java, PHP, C#, or other .NET languages
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and API integrations
  • Working knowledge of both NoSQL and relational databases
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns
  • Clear communication and the ability to explain technical concepts effectively

Desirable

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (dev or production)
  • Exposure to microservices architecture
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
  • Familiarity with feature toggling and A/B testing
  • Awareness of security best practices (e.g., OWASP Top 10)
  • Interest in mentoring junior developers or apprentices
