Production Supervisor (Day / Afternoon / Night Shift)Local Workforce is a recruitment firm that has been asked to hire three full-time positions for our paper manufacturing client in Laverton.

We are hiring THREE People - Full-Time Positions.

One full-time day shift position (Starts at 6.00 am to 2.00 pm)
One full-time afternoon shift position (Starts 2.00 pm to 10 pm)
One full-time night shift position (starts 10.00 pm to 6.00 am)

Hourly rate is $35 to $50 per hour, plus Super.
Position Purpose

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading shift operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. The role manages production staff, coordinates workflow, and drives continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise production staff during assigned shift
• Ensure production schedules are achieved
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with specifications
• Manage labour allocation and staffing across the shift
• Provide leadership, coaching and direction to production staff
• Ensure safe work practices are followed
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity
• Work closely with maintenance and warehouse teams
• Report production performance, downtime and issues
• Assist in training and onboarding new employees

Skills & Experience

• Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Understanding of production processes and quality standards
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organisational skills
