Production Packer (Day / Afternoon / Night Shift)

Local Workforce is a recruitment firm that has been asked to hire three full-time positions for our paper manufacturing client in Laverton.

We are hiring THREE People - Full-Time Position

One full-time day shift position (Starts at 6.00 am to 2.00 pm)
One full-time afternoon shift position (Starts 2.00 pm to 10 pm)
One full-time night shift position (starts 10.00 pm to 6.00 am)

Minimum hourly rate is $35 per hour, plus Super.

About The Role

The Production Packer is responsible for packing finished goods in accordance with production specifications, ensuring product quality, accurate quantities, and safe handling of materials. The role supports efficient production operations and maintains high housekeeping and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack finished product according to specifications and customer requirements
• Inspect product quality during packing to ensure it meets company standards
• Label, stack and palletise cartons correctly
• Ensure cartons are sealed and prepared for warehouse transfer
• Maintain clean and organised workstations
• Follow all safety procedures and site policies
• Assist machine operators where required to maintain production flow
• Report product defects, machine issues or safety hazards
• Support production teams in meeting daily output targets

Skills & Experience

• Previous 12 months of experience in a manufacturing or packing environment preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to lift and handle cartons safely
• Good teamwork and communication skills
