About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to enhance AIE’s brand presence and increase student enrolment both domestically and internationally. The role involves developing innovative marketing strategies, engaging with industry partners, and promoting AIE’s specialised engineering programs.

The Marketing Manager will report directly to the Executive team and work closely with the Admissions and Academic teams to support student recruitment and brand promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to attract domestic and international students.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, student demand, and competitor activity.
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising.
  • Create engaging content for various platforms including websites, blogs, brochures, and press releases.
  • Organise and participate in student recruitment events, open days, and educational fairs.
  • Collaborate with educational agents and industry partners to expand market reach and support student recruitment.
  • Liaise with the admissions team to align marketing initiatives with enrolment targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of education agents periodically.
  • Analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies to improve results.
  • Meet monthly student recruitment and marketing performance KPIs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the education sector, market trends, and student recruitment practices.
  • Stay informed about changes in the VET industry, regulatory requirements, and relevant training packages.
  • Ensure all marketing materials comply with the Standards for RTOs 2025, ASQA guidelines, ESOS Framework and consumer protection requirements.
  • Perform all duties ethically and professionally, fostering an inclusive environment free from discrimination and harassment.
  • Adhere to organisational policies and procedures at all times.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the education, engineering, or technical training sectors.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques, including social media marketing, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Proficiency in market research and data analysis to support marketing strategies and campaign performance evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, agents, and industry partners.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to develop innovative marketing initiatives.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.
