About the role We are seeking a Business Development Executive – SMB to drive SaaS revenue growth across Australia and New Zealand by identifying opportunities and engaging key school stakeholders. You’ll manage a defined product portfolio, build a strong pipeline through outbound calls and inbound leads, and convert new business across the region. Strong product knowledge will enable you to showcase Tes solutions, navigate diverse sales cycles, and uncover cross‑sell opportunities.Success in this role requires someone who is self‑motivated, target‑driven and adaptable to market changes, with a genuine passion for helping schools find the right digital solutions. What You’ll Be DoingAchieving sales targets and key performance metricsConducting high‑volume outbound calls to build strong pipeline and close new businessDelivering accurate revenue forecasts and maintaining high CRM data qualityStaying across market trends, competitor activity and product positioningDriving Tes software sales to expand market coverage across ANZBuilding and managing a robust sales pipeline using consistent processesDeveloping strong relationships with school stakeholders and decision‑makersWorking with Marketing, Customer Operations and Product teams to maximise outcomesWorking flexibly across time zones when requiredAttending school meetings, conferences and industry events as needed What You’ll BringExperienceProven sales experience with a strong record of exceeding targetsResults‑driven approach with a hunter mentalityHighly self‑motivated and proactiveUnderstanding of the K–12 education landscape (desirable)SkillsExcellent communication and reasoning skills; able to build rapport quicklyConfident influencing skills and ability to handle objections effectivelyStrong ability to identify customer needs, market trends and product opportunitiesDemonstrated success closing sales and guiding prospects through the buying journeyAbility to learn and communicate multiple software solutions accuratelyStrong attention to detail and high CRM accuracy Why TesOur intuitive technology streamlines complex tasks, enhances learning experiences, and alleviates the administrative burdens that often overwhelm schools.
