Wholesaler at Melbourne Market is seeking talented Supermarket Sales & Quality Team Leader to join our dynamic warehouse team in Epping, VIC. This is a Full Time position with the opportunity to contribute to the efficient operations of our busy distribution centre.

The Supermarket Sales & Quality Team Leader is responsible for the completion of all orders going into the supermarkets as well as overseeing quality control and quality assurance requirements;

• Responsible for all DIFOT (delivery in full on time) for all supermarket customers.

• Coordination of staffing levels in their department to ensure packaging and preparation is organised.

• Be proactive by increasing the amount and variety of products sold into the supermarkets.

• Work with Category Managers to ensure stock requirements, prices and margins are attained.

• Communicate with all supermarket customers in regards to, any changes to purchase orders, any changes to price and any special buy opportunities.

• Electronically communicate all price quotes to supermarkets.

• Implement and maintain policies and procedures in relation to quality control and quality assurance

• Work with other Salespeople to achieve the company goals and vision.

DAILY TASKS

• Liaise with Category Managers to discuss pricing, stock availability and market updates.

• Update all purchase orders with any pricing or quantity changes.

•Assess quality of all dispatch stock including temperature tests, brix tests etc.

• Organise transport requirements for all dispatched products.

• Ensure all packaging and transport equipment is maintained and available.

• Roster all team members as per daily and weekly requirements.

• Complete all Chep equipment transfers.
