Our client has engaged Evolve Scientific (NES Fircroft) to source an experienced Technical Account Manager for their south-east Melbourne site.

About the role

Based in Braeside, this role reports to the Innovation and Technology Director, and the Technical Account Manager is responsible for managing key customer accounts. Ensuring the delivery of exceptional technical service, operational support, and customer relationship management.
The role acts as the primary interface between the customer and the business, driving customer satisfaction, retention, and growth through technical expertise, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.

 This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Manage and develop strategic customer relationships
  • Provide technical support
  • Conduct regular site visits, audits, and performance reviews to ensure service excellence and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost savings, and innovation projects.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products, services, and technical solutions.
  • Monitor customer KPIs.
  • Lead customer meetings, quarterly business reviews, and project implementation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, environmental, and workplace safety requirements.

Skills & experience:

To be successful for this role, you will possess the following:
 

  • Bachelor of Science or related discipline is highly regarded
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to mix professionally and build effective relationships at all levels
  • Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
