Oakwood Epping Melbourne, managed by The Ascott Limited, now seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join as Business Development Manager. Oakwood Epping Melbourne is set to open its doors in Q4 2026.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing sales plans to achieve revenue targets and grow market share for the property.

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, existing clients and external stakeholders to drive repeat and new business opportunities.

• Proactively identifying, qualifying and converting new business leads while maintaining an active and healthy sales pipeline.

• Conducting site inspections, attending networking and industry events, and promoting the property to generate business opportunities and enhance brand presence.

• Maintaining accurate account intelligence in CRM systems, monitoring competitor activity, and collaborating with the cluster sales team to improve sales outcomes.

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Proven experience in sales, business development or account management, ideally within hospitality, hotels or serviced apartments.

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, stakeholders and internal teams.

• Demonstrated ability to identify new business opportunities, manage a sales pipeline and deliver results against revenue targets.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to maintain accurate CRM records and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• A proactive, professional and team-oriented approach, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs and represent the property positively at all times.
