About the Role

The Marketing Technology Consultant is a hands-on MarTech specialist sitting at the intersection of Marketing, Sales and Technology. You will own end-to-end campaign execution, marketing automation, CRM integration and digital platform performance, enabling a streamlined, data-driven marketing operating model that drives pipeline growth, customer engagement and digital experience optimisation across Toll’s corporate functions.

A day in the life of a Marketing Technology Consultant at Toll Group

  • Design, deliver and optimise integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned to growth objectives, managing planning, editorial calendars, approvals, assets, landing pages and collateral with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Configure and optimise marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Account Engagement/Pardot, HubSpot), including lead scoring, segmentation, lifecycle programs and consent management.
  • Own CRM integration with Salesforce, ensuring lead flow integrity, accurate campaign attribution, ABM alignment and close partnership with Sales and Sales Operations.
  • Act as Product Owner for toll.com and associated digital properties, managing the roadmap, backlog, CMS governance, user access, publishing standards and delivery with IT and web development partners.
  • Drive SEO strategy, technical SEO, website performance optimisation, WCAG accessibility compliance, privacy, security standards and third‑party integrations (forms, analytics, tracking tools).
  • Build dashboards and reports (Salesforce, Power BI), conduct campaign analysis, A/B testing, ROI and pipeline reporting, manage MarTech vendors and identify new technologies including AI‑driven personalisation and intent data platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Technology or a related discipline.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) certification (desirable).
  • HubSpot Marketing Certification (desirable).
  • Google Analytics certification or equivalent analytics qualification (desirable).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple time zones when required.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia and operate in a hybrid working environment.

Skills & Experience

  • Advanced capability across marketing automation, CRM and the Salesforce ecosystem, translating commercial objectives into scalable technical marketing solutions.
  • Strong multi-channel campaign management experience, including asset development, workflow governance and performance optimisation.
  • Hands-on experience managing enterprise CMS platforms such as Drupal or WordPress, with strong digital governance and product ownership capability.
  • Data analysis and reporting expertise using tools such as Salesforce dashboards and Power BI to demonstrate ROI, conversion and pipeline contribution.
  • Proven SEO, digital performance optimisation and web compliance knowledge, including accessibility, privacy and security standards.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, project and vendor management skills in complex, matrixed environments
