About the role:

Due to continual growth within our company, we are currently looking for a Production Estimator with sound knowledge in Estimating to join our dynamic team on a full time basis - WFH options available.

Reporting directly to the Production Estimating Manager, the successful applicant will join a hard working team with a strong commitment to providing quality service.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure relationships with internal and external customers, supervisors, suppliers, trades people, agents and contractors are maintained and improved

  • Produce Purchase / Work orders and quantity take-offs in a timely manner

  • Provide margin reports

  • Request and interpret quotations

  • Ensure jobs are cost effective and profitable

  • Assist in Workflow of jobs in production

To be considered, you should possess:

  • Australian work rights are required for this position

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in an estimating role

  • Construction estimating experience is essential

  • Previous experience within the volume home building industry is preferred

  • Qualification in Building / Construction and/or trade experience is highly desirable

  • Working knowledge of the Building and Construction process

  • Exposure to estimating systems including DataBuild is highly advantageous

  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines

  • Self-motivated and desire to succeed

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

  • Exceptional time management skills

  • Ability to solve problems in a logical and systematic manner
