We're excited to announce that, due to our expansion into new projects, we have positions available in the Melbourne Metro and Victoria Regional areas for work on both Telstra & NBN networks. We're seeking one professional civil crew lead to join our dynamic team and help drive our continued success.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil crew leadership roles within the telecommunications sector.

About the role

We are looking for dedicated and experienced Civil Crew Lead to join and support our team with Telstra & NBN network installation and maintenance. We are after a self-motivated, safety-first team member who can also work independently to join our team.

Key responsibilities -

  • Service locating

  • Pit & Pipe installation

  • Excavator & other civil plants operating

  • ACM removing & supervising

  • Grundomat operating

  • Concrete & asphalt breakout & reinstatement

  • Blockage clearing

  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices

About You

You will play a critical role in pit & pipe installation on the telecommunications network. Your expertise will help ensure our clients receive reliable and high-performance solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience on both Telstra & NBN networks and a strong understanding of Telecommunications network.

Australian permanent residency status is required for this position.

Skills and experience -

  • Previous experience working on Telstra & NBN networks is essential

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working on Telstra & NBN networks is required

  • Competent in reading and interpreting telecommunications plans

  • Previous experience in ACM with WPA

  • Civil work experience, pit and pipe

  • Experience with hand and power tools

  • Fit for work – physically fit to carry out the job

  • Positive work attitude and good communication skills

Proficiency in the following telecommunications skills will be sufficient: pit & pipe installation, ACM removing & supervising.

  • HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid

  • RIICCM202E - Identify, locate and protect underground services

  • RIIMPO320F - Conduct civil construction excavator operations

  • ICTCBL334 - Pit & Pipe installation

  • CPCCDE3014A - Remove Non-Friable Asbestos - Class B

  • CPCCDE4008 - Supervise asbestos removal
