Our client is seeking a high-performing Team Lead to manage their infrastructure group located at the Clayton Manufacturing site, supporting over 300 seats throughout Australia and New Zealand. The individual will demonstrate the technical ability and management skills to lead a team of 4.

This role is initially a contract role and will convert to permanent employment after 12 months, based on performance.

  • 3-4 years IT experience or 2-year or more degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

  • B2 level or above – English

  • A driving license (B)

  • Supporting 300+ end users

  • Manage small team

  • Monday – Friday onsite role

  • Reports to area coordinator\regional manager

  • Based at Melbourne Clayton site

  • Support small to intermediate site(s) and responsible for up to 300+ employees as an individual contributor with light supervision, and capability to lead small team of analysts in-region.

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to employees for a range of hardware and software-related systems, leveraging central teams as needed. This includes, but is not limited to, PC hardware and software, printers, scanner, telephony and networking.

  • Able to support projects and initiatives from both corporate and SBU global IT teams

  • Good knowledge of company and internal processes

  • Diagnosing problem source through discussions with users and coordinating with internal IT

  • organization support and operations groups and/or with vendors to resolve problems

  • Track all IT asserts and manage refresh activities according to PPG standard lifecycles.

  • Use ticket management tool to track and resolver tickets, while adhering to PPG KPI's for ticket resolution and customer satisfaction.

  • Leverage dashboards to manage fleet health and take corrective actions as needed.

  • Follow company standards and apply policies accordingly.

  • Training users on use of new technology and software.

  • Participates in various IT projects working with internal and external teams.

  • Possess strong interpersonal and collaboration skills and the ability to document procedure, as required.

  • Familiarity with project management techniques.

  • Responds to phone , emails, IM's and personnel requests for technical support.
