Wanted: Product Engineer | Drive Local Manufacturing | Heat Transfer & NPD

Tired of seeing manufacturing shipped offshore? So are we. At InKorr, we exist to create value for our customers in any way we can. If we cannot provide the best value, we find a way to improve it. We are proudly pushing back against the offshore trend by bringing industrial manufacturing back to Australia—and right here to local customers in Victoria. We are looking for a dynamic Product Engineer to lead the charge.

If you thrive on quickly designing, adapting, and managing products for local clients and want to be at the forefront of Australian industrial innovation, we want you on our team.

The Role

As our Product Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing both the quality assurance of customer quotes and the development of new products. You will be the linchpin taking our products from initial concept to the manufacturing floor, collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure our locally-made products meet market needs efficiently and effectively.

What you’ll be doing
  • End-to-End Product Development: Lead new product initiatives from concept through to design standards and safety compliance.
  • Pipeline Management: Develop and prioritize potential new products based on market size, complexity, and competitive landscape.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and validate quotes prepared by Sales Engineers, ensuring absolute accuracy, technical feasibility, and adherence to compliance checklists.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical communications for complex client projects, ensuring clarity on all specifications and unique requirements.
  • Research & Development: Conduct or coordinate crucial R&D, including CFD analysis, to guarantee robust and innovative solutions.
  • Project Tracking: Maintain detailed project GANTT charts with clear milestones, responsibilities, and deadlines to keep our rapid development on track.
What You Bring

To succeed in adapting products quickly for our local market, you will need:

  • Strong mechanical design capabilities with proven proficiency in CAD.
  • Fluency in pressure vessel and heat transfer calculations.
  • Highly Valued: Direct hands-on experience with heat exchangers.
  • A collaborative mindset with a commitment to regular reporting and active participation in team meetings.
  • A drive to maintain and improve existing product lines to meet evolving customer demands.
Ready to help us build it here?

Join InKorr and help us shape the future of local manufacturing.
