Overview

As Product Manager – Freight, you’ll operate at the intersection of strategy, customer insight, and commercial delivery. This role is part of a newly established Product & Strategy function, with direct influence on customer segmentation, solution design and market positioning.

Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end product initiatives from discovery through launch and performance tracking.
  • Build product roadmaps, requirements and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Lead customer discovery and translate insights into high‑impact solutions.
  • Improve customer segmentation, targeting and service design.
  • Drive cross‑functional delivery across Sales, Pricing, Operations, Finance and IT.
  • Influence stakeholders and navigate complex delivery environments.
  • Develop business cases and assess revenue, margin and cost‑to‑serve impact.
  • Track performance, optimise outcomes and identify new commercial opportunities.
Qualifications
  • 5–8 years’ experience in Product Management or a related commercial role.
  • Proven ability to deliver cross‑functional initiatives with real business impact.
  • Strong customer discovery and problem‑solving capability.
  • Ability to connect product decisions to commercial outcomes (revenue, margin, costs).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Logistics or freight experience is a bonus but not essential.
