With four successful venues currently operating and three new venues set to open, we’re entering an exciting phase of growth and are looking for an experienced and ambitious Marketing Manager to help drive the next chapter of our journey.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to lead marketing for a rapidly expanding multi-venue business. As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, drive venue visitation, support new venue launches, and strengthen customer loyalty across all locations.
Working closely with senior leadership and venue teams, you’ll play a key role in shaping how General Public is positioned in the market as we continue to expand our footprint and build a leading entertainment brand. This role in based in our office in Dingley Village.
Key Responsibilities· Develop and execute a group-wide marketing strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
· Drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement across all venues.
· Plan and deliver marketing campaigns for food and beverage offerings, bowling, arcade experiences, functions, events, school holiday programs, and seasonal promotions.
· Lead marketing activities for upcoming venue launches, including pre-opening campaigns, PR initiatives, and launch events.
· Manage General Public’s digital presence, including website, email marketing, social media, and paid advertising channels.
· Oversee content creation, photography, videography, and brand storytelling.
· Monitor market trends, customer insights, and campaign performance to optimise results.
· Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, community groups, and strategic partners.
· Support function and event sales through targeted marketing initiatives.
· Manage external agencies, suppliers, and marketing budgets.
About YouYou are a creative marketer with strong commercial instincts and a passion for hospitality, entertainment, and customer experiences. Essential Skills & Experience· 5+ years’ experience in marketing, with experience in hospitality, entertainment, tourism, retail, or events highly regarded.
· Proven success developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
· Strong digital marketing knowledge, including social media, paid advertising, email marketing, and content strategy.
· Experience analysing marketing performance and using data to drive decision-making.
· Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities across several venues and projects simultaneously.
Highly Desirable· Experience in multi-site hospitality or entertainment businesses.
· Venue launch or brand expansion experience.
· Experience with loyalty programs and customer engagement strategies.
· Photography, videography, graphic design, or content production experience.
